Remote Learning
Welcome to our Remote Learning page. In line with government guidance, we have outlined below our approach to Remote Learning in the eventuality that children need to learn from home.
We have fully developed our remote learning provision and are confident that, in working together, we will ensure that your child continues to thrive if they are out of school for any period of time.
Remote Learning will:
- give a broad, balanced curriculum of relevant subjects/ activities
- be planned in a way which will work at home
- enable our children to communicate with their teachers
- allow children to receive feedback on their learning
For Reception, any remote learning activities are posted on Tapestry (daily live sessions will take place using Google Meet). For Years 1 to 6, any remote learning takes place on Google Classroom. This platform enables all lessons, activities, videos, suggested timetables and links to be posted, as well as work submitted and feedback given from the teachers. We are also using Google Meet to interact live with classes at least twice every day.
Our full curriculum would continue to be delivered to all children in the event of remote learning provision, whether in school or at home and details of each Year Group's learning can be found on our 'Curriculum Overview' page, as well as on each year group's dedicated web page under 'Classes'. Details of learning objectives and coverage for each subject area are within our subject pages under the 'Curriculum' drop down menu.
We are always here to support you throughout any remote learning experiences.
